The goal of OSHA’s 7.5– hour Disaster Site Worker Course is a shortened version to the 15-hour Disaster Site Worker Course that provides disaster site workers awareness of the safety and health hazards they may encounter; the importance of respiratory and other personal protective equipment (PPE); and decontamination procedures that may be used to mitigate the hazards.
